The first modified version was named 2.5x2 (x.. = modified by DL5SWB) where only background colors and fonts were customizable.

New in version 2.5x3:

• RTS or DTR selectable for PTT switching.
• Editing of text macros, including button caption.
• Inversion of receiving signal by USB/LSB-button.
• Help in German.

New in version 2.5x3.1:

• No need of re-enter Setup to activate PTT.
• CW Id works after first Setup.
• All windows are resizable in height by splitters.
• Reworked Help system. Now using HTML Help (*.CHM).
• Minor cosmetic changes.

New in version 2.5x3.2:

• Added squelch function.
• Replaced window hints by more useful popup menus.
• Font styles "Bold" and "Italic" are storable.
• With display 800x600 and higher "Large Font" can be used.
• XPStyle for XP users.

New in version 2.5x3.3:

• Added German language.
• CQ loop.
• Colored waterfall with own palettes.
• Many little visible and invisible changes...
• ... see help file.

After three years in 2003 we have a multilingual version, which now includes additional German. During the last years some useful items were added. THROB, as developed by Lionel Sear, is still the same THROB as before. Only by publishing the source code everything was possible. From receiving suggestions to release a new version it's often a long, very long time keeping way. It's only my hobby and I enjoy to try out new things and be pleased if they do work.

Especially I would be glad, if you enjoy THROB on the bands as well.

Unfortunately, I don’t have still the opportunity to test THROB on air. Therefore newer versions won’t be published.
