mini Ring Core Calculator will run under Linux with Wine as well.
You can install the program using the same “minirk12_install.exe”.
Tested under SuSE 9.0 with “Wine 20050725”.

For proper display of the symbols W and S the font “symbol.ttf” is needed, which should be located in the following folder:
                                 ~/.wine/fake_windows/Windows/Fonts
 
Additional for text “arial.ttf” and “courier.ttf” are required.

You can copy the fonts from an existing Windows partition. Otherwise there are sites in the internet for downloading.

There are still problems with rendering the MS Help files.

The goal is a version, which is mostly Windows-Linux compatible.
